ทำไมถึงไว้วางใจเครื่องมือวัดนี้

Based on Bandura's (1977) social cognitive theory and the generalized self-efficacy construct of Schwarzer & Jerusalem, this assessment uses 10 independently developed items rated on a 4-point scale to measure your belief in your ability to handle challenges and novel situations. The items were written by NOESIS to represent the published construct; this is not the original General Self-Efficacy Scale.

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

คำถามที่พบบ่อย

What does this assessment measure?

It measures general self-efficacy — your belief in your capacity to handle novel or difficult situations. It is not about specific skills but about confidence in coping.

How does this relate to the General Self-Efficacy Scale?

This assessment measures the same self-efficacy construct from Bandura's (1977) theory. All items are independently developed by NOESIS.

Is this test scientifically validated?

It is built on Bandura's (1977) social cognitive theory and the generalized self-efficacy construct of Schwarzer & Jerusalem, used in research across dozens of countries. The items are a NOESIS adaptation — independently written and not independently validated — so treat results as structured self-reflection.

What do high and low scores mean?

High scores mean you approach challenges expecting to cope, which feeds initiative and persistence; low scores mean new or difficult situations trigger doubt before action. Self-efficacy grows through mastery experiences — small wins on real challenges — more than through encouragement, which makes it very responsive to deliberate practice.
