Three-Component Model of Organizational Commitment

Also known as: TCM · Meyer-Allen commitment · Affective commitment

Organizational commitment as a psychological state with three distinct components: affective commitment (emotional attachment — wanting to stay), continuance commitment (perceived cost of leaving — needing to stay), and normative commitment (sense of obligation — feeling one ought to stay).
