Career Construction Theory

Also known as: Career adaptability · CAAS framework · Savickas career theory

Framework that treats career development as a process of constructing meaning through vocational tasks, transitions and traumas. It identifies four psychosocial resources — concern, control, curiosity and confidence — that people use to manage their career trajectories, and operationalises them as career adaptability.
