The Career Engagement Scale (Hirschi, Freund & Herrmann, 2014) measures how actively you invest in your career development through nine proactive behaviors — exploring, networking, learning, planning — rated on a five-point scale from not at all to a great deal. Internal consistency alpha is .87–.88. The score is reported as a single mean, reflecting overall career self-management.
