Strength Model of Self-Control
別名: Ego depletion · Self-regulation · BSCS framework
Self-control is the capacity to override or change one's inner responses, as well as to interrupt undesired behavioral tendencies and refrain from acting on them. The strength model treats self-control as a limited resource that can be depleted by exertion (ego depletion) and strengthened through practice, analogous to a muscle.
