This assessment measures six dimensions of vocational identity development based on Marcia's Identity Status Theory applied to career (Porfeli, Lee & Vondracek, 2011): Commitment Making, Identification with Commitment, In-Breadth Exploration, In-Depth Exploration, Self-Doubt and Flexibility. Thirty independently developed items, five per dimension, rated on a five-point agreement scale. Alpha reliabilities of .77–.83 are reported for the original six-factor structure. The six-dimensional profile maps your position in the process of forming a career identity.
