Self-efficacy applied to career decision-making: the belief in one's capacity to successfully complete tasks necessary for making career decisions. Five task domains: self-appraisal, occupational information gathering, goal selection, planning, and problem solving. Grounded in Bandura's self-efficacy theory and Crites' career maturity model.
