このツールを信頼できる理由。
Based on the transactional model of stress (Lazarus & Folkman, 1984) with the strategy structure popularized by Carver's Brief COPE (1997), this assessment uses 28 independently developed items — two per strategy — to profile fourteen distinct ways of coping, from active coping and planning to denial and self-blame. The result is a profile of relative use, not a single score. The items were written by NOESIS to represent the published constructs; this is not the original Brief COPE.

このテストの背景にある理論。
Transactional Model of Coping
Model defining coping as cognitive and behavioral efforts to manage demands appraised as taxing or exceeding personal resources. Distinguishes problem-focused (changing the situation) and emotion-focused (managing emotional response) strategies, with no strategy being universally adaptive.

よくある質問
What does this assessment measure?
It measures 14 distinct coping strategies including active coping, planning, emotional support, humor, denial, substance use, and others. No strategy is inherently good or bad — context matters.
How does this relate to the Brief COPE?
This assessment measures the same 14 coping strategies defined by Carver (1997). All items are independently developed by NOESIS.
Why do some subscale scores feel less stable?
Each of the 14 coping strategies is measured by just 2 items. This means individual subscale scores are less stable than longer scales — they capture a snapshot, not a precise measurement. Focus on patterns across multiple strategies rather than any single subscale score.
What do high and low scores mean?
Read your profile relative to itself: which strategies you reach for most. Active coping, planning, reframing, acceptance, and support-seeking are generally adaptive; heavy reliance on denial, disengagement, substance use, or self-blame predicts worse adjustment over time. Context matters — distraction that is harmful during a solvable crisis can be healthy while awaiting news you cannot influence.
