Which Zodiac Sign Matches You
~9 min · 30 questions · Free partial report
This does not calculate your sign. It asks how you behave and tells you which of the twelve you most resemble, which is a different question and a more interesting one. The twelve are used here as twelve temperaments rather than twelve dates. Each question puts four of them against each other in an ordinary situation, so every answer costs you three others. Across the quiz each sign is offered exactly the same number of times, which means none can win by being asked about more often. Most people come out as a blend, and the second place is usually where the recognition happens. Aries first with Capricorn second is a very different person from Aries first with Pisces second. The free result names your sign and shows how the twelve stacked up. The full report covers the blend of your top two, the sign you scored lowest on and what it would have given you, and what your dominant sign looks like on a day when it is not working.
Twelve signs treated as twelve temperaments, matched by how you behave rather than by when you were born. The result often disagrees with your actual sign, which is the interesting part.
- Find out which of the twelve signs your behaviour actually resembles
- See your full spread, not just the top one, because second place changes it
- Compare the result with the sign you were born under
- Learn what your dominant sign looks like on a bad day, which most descriptions leave out

What this test measures
Aries
First. You move before the room has finished deciding, and you would rather correct course than wait for certainty.
Taurus
Immovable, and comfortable being so. You want things solid, pleasant and not subject to constant revision.
Gemini
Quick and plural. You think by talking, hold several positions at once, and get bored before other people get started.
Cancer
Protective and retentive. You track who is alright, you remember what was said, and home is a real category for you.
Leo
Visible and generous with it. You want to matter, in a way you would rather not have to explain.
Virgo
Precise and useful. You see the gap between what this is and what it should be, and closing it is not optional for you.
Libra
Balance, and other people. You read the room as a system and you would rather solve the atmosphere than win the argument.
Scorpio
Depth and control. You go all the way in or not at all, and very little of it is visible from outside.
Sagittarius
Range and meaning. You need the horizon in view and you will say the true thing before you have checked whether it was wanted.
Capricorn
The long game. You build things that hold, and you are prepared to be unrewarded for a considerable time.
Aquarius
Outside, on principle. You see the system rather than the situation, and you are comfortable being the only one who disagrees.
Pisces
Porous. You absorb what is around you, you imagine in detail, and the boundary between you and the room is thinner than most.

Questions the report answers.
Is the speed thinking or the absence of it?
Usually thinking, compressed. The problem is that it is indistinguishable from the other thing while it is happening, including to you, and the only reliable check is how often the fast calls turned out well in this particular domain.
When does reliability become obstruction?
On the day the situation genuinely changed. Holding your ground is the same behaviour whether the ground is worth holding or not, and the signal to watch is when your reasons stop being about the thing and start being about not moving.
Why does boredom arrive before the finish?
Because the interesting part is the working out, and once a thing is understood there is nothing left for you in it. The workable version is not more discipline; it is arranging to hand over the execution while it is still interesting to somebody.
Who carries what you carry?
Usually nobody. Tracking how everybody is doing is invisible labour and it accumulates, and the people who benefit from it are structurally unlikely to notice it is being done.
What is wrong with wanting to be seen?
Nothing, until it selects the work. Wanting to matter is what gets things finished and shipped; the version to watch for is picking the visible project over the one that was worth doing.
Why does being right make people tired?
Because accuracy without a next step is just a list of what is wrong. The thing that changes how your corrections land is not being gentler about them; it is attaching what to do instead.
What does keeping the peace cost?
The decisions you did not make. A bad atmosphere is genuinely expensive and so is a question left open for six months to avoid one, and the second cost arrives later and is harder to trace back.
Why do people find you hard to know?
Because the proportion of you that is visible is small and deliberately chosen. That is a defensible arrangement; what it means in practice is that everybody who wants to know you has to do the work, and most people do not have the surplus.
When is honesty a fault?
When the sentence cost more than the truth in it was worth. You will not remember saying it and the other person will remember it for years, and the asymmetry is the whole problem.
What are the ten years for?
Worth asking, because the machinery of building for later works whether or not the destination is still one you want. The most common capricorn failure is not falling short; it is arriving somewhere chosen by a much younger version of you.
What does the distance cost?
Being felt as absent by people who are close to you. Seeing the system rather than the situation is what makes you right early, and it is the same faculty that makes somebody in front of you feel like an instance rather than a person.
Can you have the imagination without the porousness?
No, and that is the honest answer. The same thinness of boundary that lets a room's mood in is what lets you imagine something in enough detail to make it. Managing it means recovery time, not a thicker wall.
Who benefits most.
Somebody who reads their horoscope and does not believe it
This is built for you. It uses the vocabulary, drops the claims, and gives you a result you can argue with because it came from your own answers.
Somebody whose sign never fitted
Very common, and this gives you the sign that does fit your behaviour. The gap between the two is the part worth thinking about.
Two people comparing
The useful comparison is not whether you match. It is whether your dominant sign is the other person's lowest, which is where most of the recurring friction lives.
Somebody who wants the long one
Thirty questions and nine minutes, which is the longest of the astrology tests here. Twelve outcomes need the length to separate cleanly.
Frequently asked questions
Why do you not ask for my birth date?
Because this does not compute your sign. There is no chart, no calculation and no birth date field on the platform. It asks how you behave and reports which of the twelve temperaments your answers resemble.
My result is not my actual sign. What does that mean?
It means the way you describe your own behaviour does not line up with the temperament attached to your birth sign. That is the most common outcome and the most interesting one to talk about, which is part of why the test exists.
Is astrology real?
Not as a science, and this test does not claim otherwise. The twelve survive as a shared vocabulary for describing people, and that is the whole of what is being borrowed.
Could one sign win just by appearing more often?
No, and that was designed against deliberately. Every sign appears in exactly ten of the thirty questions. Without that, the signs offered most would win regardless of how anybody answered.
What if two signs come out level?
Common, and the report treats the top two as a blend. The pairing is usually more recognisable than the winner alone: the same first sign behaves quite differently depending on what sits underneath it.
Are the descriptions flattering?
Not entirely, on purpose. Every sign has a version in the report that other people find difficult, because a description with only the good half is useless for recognising yourself.
Can I take it for somebody else?
You can, and the answers will describe how you see them rather than how they are. That is worth knowing before you send them the result.
