Non-Specific Psychological Distress

Also known as: K10 · Kessler distress · Non-specific distress

A single dimension of distress that captures the overlap between anxiety and depressive symptoms without distinguishing between them. Designed as a population-level screening tool, it discriminates between community cases and non-cases of DSM disorders and tracks trends in population mental health over time.
