Psychological Flourishing

Flourishing describes a state of positive human functioning encompassing good relationships, feelings of competence, meaning and purpose in life, and engagement with activities. It captures the social-psychological dimension of well-being that pure affect or satisfaction scales miss — flourishing people contribute to others, feel respected and are optimistic.
